Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jonqw Fray!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 7 - 2, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sergey Keosayan!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Paul Tew and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A swing and a miss from Fray.
Keosayan moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Keosayan pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Fray throws a shot from downtown. Keosayan moves away and avoids it.
Keosayan moves out of range of the strikes.
Keosayan connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Keosayan thuds his shin into the meat of Fray's side.
Keosayan works the jab nicely.
Fray throws the left hand but Keosayan avoids the punch easily.
Keosayan tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Keosayan lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Keosayan looks up at the clock and then as Fray takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Keosayan smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Keosayan connects with a nice short shot to Fray's temple.

Fray seems to be working for a kimura but Keosayan defends the submission attempt.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Well Keosayan has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
