The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Minasian waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Austin.
Austin tried to counter with a leg kick but Minasian avoided it.
Austin looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Austin tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Minasian was well out of range. Poor timing from Austin.

Minasian lands with a hook. Austin tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Austin with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Minasian to score with a decent uppercut.
Minasian connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Minasian paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Austin fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

Minasian looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

Minasian lands a nice hook to Austin's body. Austin takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Nice uppercut lands for Austin. That snapped Minasian's head back.

Austin throws a hook to the side of Minasian's head but Minasian sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Minasian flicks out a counter leg kick but Austin steps away.

Minasian lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Austin takes a shot to the body in his stride.

No joy there for Austin, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Minasian! But no joy.
Minasian throws a hook to the side of Austin's head but Austin sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Minasian throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Austin crashing down! Austin tries to stagger back to his feet but Minasian just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Austin asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.
