The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Biggs scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

It looks like Big John has been cut.
Biggs connects with the punch.
John has a takedown stuffed.

and Biggs counters with a one-two to the body.
Biggs swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and John counters with a single leg into guard. Biggs didn't expect that.

Biggs has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. John is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.

John breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Biggs throws a combination. John tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

John drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Justin Biggs is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Biggs scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
John misses with a jab, cross combination.
Biggs sizes up John with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Biggs let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.

John shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Biggs wants to control but John is keeping busy.
Biggs makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Biggs.
Biggs has momentary wrist control but John slips an elbow through the middle.
Biggs bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in John's guard.
Biggs engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.

John wants to stand up but Biggs is controlling him.
Biggs pushing down on John's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Biggs content to control rather than advance.

John makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Biggs misses with a double jab.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Biggs enables John to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Biggs manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
