Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ali Grigsby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chinnawat Shinawatra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Grigsby kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Happy - Pharrell Williams. On his way into the cage it seems that Ali Grigsby has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Ali Grigsby seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Chinnawat Shinawatra!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Roger Salmon and Micheangelo Fripello.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shinawatra blocks a leg kick.
Grigsby misses with a leg kick
and Shinawatra counters with an outside leg kick.
Grigsby feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Shinawatra's calf.
Grigsby throws a chopping leg kick but Shinawatra manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Grigsby throws a combination that misses
and Shinawatra counters with a good low kick that Grigsby was not able to check.
Grigsby is looking to score with low kicks.
Grigsby misses with a body shot
and Shinawatra counters with a right hand to the body.
Grigsby tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Shinawatra tries a head kick but it misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

A looping hook to the body misses from Shinawatra. Grigsby does a little dance to reset his feet.
Grigsby's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Grigsby duly obliges.
Grigsby fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
A jab from Shinawatra does it's job there.
Shinawatra delivers a nice body kick.

It looks like Ali Grigsby has been cut.
Our sources have told us that Grigsby has been working on his elbows in the gym.
Grigsby wants to get back to striking at distance but Shinawatra won't allow it.
Shinawatra dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage.
Grigsby wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Shinawatra has him pressed against the cage.

Shinawatra keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Grigsby's efforts to push away.
Shinawatra has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Grigsby seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Shinawatra can turn it around.
Shinawatra lands a big knee! That's hurt Grigsby! Oh, he's all over the place! Shinawatra lands another knee that sends Grigsby to the floor and the referee steps in to end the fight!
