Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sebastian Delacruz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Guilherme Carmo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Guilherme Carmo acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 1, fighting out of New York, Sebastian Delacruz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Guilherme Carmo!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Eddie Farnsworth and Franklyn Lucas.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Carmo throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Delacruz was covering up waiting for the punch and Carmo finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Delacruz is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Delacruz manages to pull guard.

Delacruz looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Carmo passes into side control.
Carmo moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Delacruz tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Carmo wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Carmo prevents Delacruz from escaping the position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Carmo wants to control but Delacruz is keeping him busy.

Carmo fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Delacruz sprawls well initially but Carmo persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Delacruz has a hand on Carmo's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Carmo takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!
Delacruz is wriggling around trying to escape.

Delacruz wants to control but Carmo is having none of it.

Delacruz is looking to improve his position but Carmo isn't that keen on the idea.

Delacruz looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Carmo has picked Delacruz up and slammed him! Delacruz can't keep hold of the triangle and Carmo manages to pass to side control!

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Delacruz bucks up and throws Carmo to the side - he's got back to his feet. Great escape!
Carmo has a takedown stuffed.
Delacruz throws a chopping leg kick but Carmo manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

Carmo on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Sebastian Delacruz is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Carmo shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Delacruz's guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!


The fight stays on the outside here - Delacruz looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Carmo shoots in and gets a takedown into Delacruz's guard.

Delacruz throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Carmo escapes and throws Delacruz's legs to the side, diving into side control!
A lull in the action here as Carmo stalls from top position.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Delacruz pushes Carmo away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Carmo gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

I would just about give that final round to Guilherme Carmo.
