Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Don Bradman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charles Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Don Bradman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Charles Brown!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown darts in looking for a takedown but Bradman gets double underhooks and turns Brown into the cage.
Brown fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
It looked like Bradman was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Brown tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Bradman swivels and escapes.
Don Bradman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Charles Brown.
Bradman stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Bradman wants it to stay on the feet.
Bradman swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Brown has his takedown stuffed
and Bradman counters with a thumping low kick.
Bradman throws a leg kick

and Brown counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Brown missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Bradman is looking for a sweep. Brown is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Brown trying to pass the guard but Bradman defending well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Brown stalling.
Brown stalling away here and it's allowed Bradman to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Bradman keeping moving, preventing Brown from controlling successfully.
Bradman is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Brown gets back to full guard.
Brown looking to hit a scissor sweep but Bradman is one step ahead there.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Brown is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Brown has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Bradman should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Brown has tightened it up now! Bradman should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Charles Brown!
