I think De Groot might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to London. Green has chosen Miracle - We Ain't Scared as his entrance music. Danny Green has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Groot throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A countering left hand to the body from Green misses.
Green lands a front kick.
De Groot misses with a low kick.
Green lands a nice shot that snaps De Groot's head back.
De Groot takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
De Groot throws a right and a left that Green avoids nicely.
Green throws out a powerful jab.
Green lands a jab to the nose.
De Groot looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Green slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Green thuds his right hand into De Groot's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Green steps to the side to avoid the strikes from De Groot.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

We've been hearing reports that De Groot has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
De Groot throws a leg kick which misses Green's front leg but catches the back leg as Green tries to avoid it.
Green throws a push kick but De Groot slaps the foot to one side.
De Groot quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.
Green has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Oh De Groot is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
De Groot walks straight into devastating uppercut and drops to the floor, clearly wobbled! Can he beat the count? 4,5,6,7... he's up! And he's down again! The ref steps in and calls an end to the fight! What a punch that was!

A relieved looking Danny Green thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
