The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Brennan fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Svensson, pushing him back against the cage.

Brennan is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Svensson pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Svensson is trying to push Brennan away but Brennan has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Svensson connects with a knee to the head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Svensson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Svensson looks to land a combination but Brennan avoids it well.
Svensson throws a push kick but Brennan slaps the foot to one side.
Brennan tries to counter with a takedown but Svensson is quick to defend against it.
Alex Svensson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Svensson lands a brutal head kick. Brennan looks out on his feet and Svensson throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
