Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 17 - 0, fighting out of London, Shael Connen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Walter White!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Chris Downing and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
White misses the shot to the body.
It looked like Connen was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
White tries to clinch

and Connen counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
White preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Connen lands a couple of decent looking shots.
White is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Connen trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
White is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
White not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Connen wants to control from the top but White keeps moving.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Connen postures up in White's guard and throws a big left but White blocks it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
White is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Connen tries to free his leg and advance position but White is retaining full guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
White is trying to control the position but Connen postures up.
Connen stands up over White, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
White looking to control.

Connen postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! White is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Connen, into his guard.

Connen tries to land a sweep but no joy.
White trying to control but Connen is working from the bottom.
Connen is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Connen looking to hit a scissor sweep but White is one step ahead there.

Connen avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Connen has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Connen has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
White trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Connen is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst White is controlling him.

White drops back, looking for a kneebar! Connen looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Connen looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Connen!

White is trying to control Connen's posture but Connen avoids it.
Connen lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.

White regains half guard.
Connen missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Connen looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
White has his hands clasped together around Connen's back. He's all about the action.
Connen is looking to take a break and control but White is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Connen is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.


White is rocked!
Connen lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
White is still in real trouble! Can Connen finish him?
Connen lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt White quite badly. White pulls Connen in close trying to recover. Connen postures up and lands two really hard shots that put White on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but White doesn't seem to be complaining too much.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Shael Connen!
