Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Michael Wallace!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Josh West and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wallace misses with a takedown attempt
and Machado counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Left hook, right uppercut from Machado .
Machado cracks Wallace with a right hand to the side of the head.
Wallace fails with an attempt to clinch.
Wallace with a poor takedown
enabling Machado to counter with a crisp jab.
Machado pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Wallace back to the cage. Machado follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Machado cracks Wallace with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Wallace throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Machado tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Wallace is in Machado 's guard.
Machado wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Wallace manages to pass to side control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Wallace in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Machado tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Wallace!
