The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Jackson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Hecatomb.
Jackson is looking to clinch.
Jackson moves in looking to clinch but Hecatomb pushes him off.
Jackson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Hecatomb circles away from the clinch attempt
and Hecatomb counters with a left to the body.

Jackson throws a hook but Hecatomb blocks it.

Jackson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hecatomb swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Hecatomb is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Jackson.

And Jackson tries to counter it with a takedown but Hecatomb pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Hecatomb lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Jackson backs up against the cage.
Jackson is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Hecatomb throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Jackson sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Hecatomb moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Jackson takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Jackson tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hecatomb was well out of range. Poor timing from Jackson.

A quick step to the side and Hecatomb tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Hecatomb avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

The fight stays on the outside here - Jackson looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Hecatomb jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Hecatomb cracks Jackson with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

and Hecatomb counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

That has opened up Joseph Jackson's cut even more.
Jackson slips a straight right by Hecatomb.
Jackson tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Hecatomb counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Hecatomb lands a left and a right that send Jackson crashing to the mat, dazed. Hecatomb thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jackson tries to clinch up but Hecatomb circles away and keeps his distance.

and Hecatomb cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Hecatomb steps in with a hook that catches Jackson right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Hecatomb follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Jackson looks absolutely devastated.
