Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jean Labosky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tobias Tattsyrup (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jean Labosky!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Tobias Tattsyrup!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, David Schapiro and Bruno Lombardi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Labosky misses with a straight left.
Labosky looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Tattsyrup fails to land with a series of punches.
Tobias Tattsyrup seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Labosky misses with a body shot.
Labosky connects with a body shot.
Tattsyrup shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Labosky pinned against the cage. Labosky gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Tattsyrup displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Labosky throws out the jab.

Tattsyrup shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Labosky is trying to defend but Tattsyrup finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Labosky kicks off Tattsyrup and gets to his feet.
Tattsyrup has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Labosky misses with a wild body shot.
Tattsyrup shoots in but Labosky avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Labosky connects with an inside leg kick.
Labosky throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Labosky jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Labosky throws a right hand that Tattsyrup ducks under and follows up with a left that Tattsyrup also avoids with ease.

Labosky stalks Tattsyrup and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Tattsyrup's face. Tattsyrup staggers backwards, shaken.
Tattsyrup throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Labosky thinks about countering with a head kick.
Tattsyrup misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Labosky seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Tattsyrup throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Tattsyrup closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Labosky is trying to stand up here but Tattsyrup is controlling him well.
Tattsyrup throwing shots but Labosky is blocking nicely.
Tattsyrup is trying to control the action in half guard but Labosky is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Tattsyrup not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Labosky is looking to get back to is feet but Tattsyrup passes into side control.

Tattsyrup is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Labosky knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Tattsyrup is looking to take a break and control but Labosky is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Tattsyrup prevents Labosky from escaping the position.
Labosky is not content to let Tattsyrup control the position.
Tattsyrup is putting a hurting on Labosky here, landing some big shots from side control.
Labosky is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Tattsyrup has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Tattsyrup has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Labosky is not content to let Tattsyrup control the position.
Labosky wants to get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Tattsyrup lands a nice forearm strike.
Labosky parries the strikes from Tattsyrup easily there. Tattsyrup is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Labosky to escape.
Tattsyrup lands some shots froms side control.
Labosky pushes Tattsyrup away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Tattsyrup gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Tattsyrup in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
Labosky takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Tattsyrup tries to score with some ground and pound. Labosky controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Labosky is trying to escape the position but Tattsyrup is controlling the position.
Tattsyrup in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Tattsyrup misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Tattsyrup is looking to take a break and control but Labosky is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Labosky takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Tattsyrup cracks Labosky with a big elbow.
A lull in the action here as Tattsyrup stalls from top position.
The strikes coming from Tattsyrup are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Tattsyrup tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Labosky is pushing Tattsyrup's head away, looking to escape. Tattsyrup manages to hold on to the position though.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Tobias Tattsyrup will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Labosky rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Tattsyrup moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Crunch! Labosky slams his shin into Tattsyrup's torso.

Tattsyrup bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Tattsyrup scoring with punches and elbows.
Labosky defending against the ground and pound.
Labosky is trying to escape the position but Tattsyrup is controlling the position.
Tattsyrup throws an elbow but Labosky slips to the side and avoids it well.
Tattsyrup throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Tattsyrup working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
Labosky on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
Tattsyrup is putting a hurting on Labosky here, landing some big shots from side control.
Tattsyrup is chipping away with strikes.


Labosky is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A big shot lands for Tattsyrup! That's hurt Labosky! Will he recover? Tattsyrup fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tobias Tattsyrup!
Tobias Tattsyrup spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
