Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kojiro Kyle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Vashon Daleske!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Anthony Taglia and David Schapiro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kyle swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Daleske.
A solid leg kick lands there for Kyle.
Kyle slips a jab and a cross from Daleske.
Nice sprawl there from Kyle as Daleske shoots in.

Daleske moves into the clinch.
Daleske wants to break free but Kyle has control.
A head punch on the inside from Kyle fails to land.
Kyle throws a head punch that misses.
Kyle working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.

Daleske jumps into guard, dragging Kyle to the mat.
Kyle content to stall in guard here.
Daleske controlling the position.
Kyle slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Daleske tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kyle paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Kyle stuffs the takedown attempt from Daleske. Daleske gets slowly back to his feet.
It looked like Kyle wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Kojiro Kyle is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Daleske shoots in for a double leg but Kyle sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Horrible takedown attempt by Daleske or perhaps it was just good defense by Kyle, which made it look bad.
That kick from Kyle tenderised Daleske's leg. Daleske is trying to keep his angry face on.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Daleske crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Kyle - the referee stops the clock and Daleske gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Kyle. Daleske manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Daleske walks into a straight right hand from Kyle.
Daleske throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kyle's waist but Kyle gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Daleske off to one side.
Kyle fires out a quick counter leg kick but Daleske just manages to avoid it.
Kyle is looking to slow Daleske down with leg kicks.
Kyle lands with a thumping leg kick.
A head kick misses from Kyle.
Daleske tries to counter by closing the distance.
Kyle tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Daleske paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Daleske fails with the takedown
and Kyle counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Daleske shoots for a double leg takedown but Kyle sprawls well. He's pushed Daleske's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Kyle feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Daleske's calf.
Kyle's jab looks to have found its range, popping Daleske under the eye.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Daleske drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Daleske avoids the body shot from Kyle.
Daleske takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Kyle works Daleske's body with a nice hook.

and Kyle counters with a stiff right hand.
Kyle lands with a thumping leg kick.
Kyle lands a slapping body shot.

Daleske closes the distance and clinches.
Daleske is looking to take this one to the mat.
Daleske has Kyle pressed against the cage.
Kyle has a couple of punches blocked by Daleske.

Kyle cracks Daleske with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Daleske shoots in looking for a takedown. Kyle tries to sprawl out of it but Daleske keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kyle manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Kyle throws a body punch but Daleske moves out of range.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Kyle.

Daleske walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

and Kyle cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Kyle connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Daleske momentarily.
Kyle lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Daleske displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kyle throws out the jab.

Daleske scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.

Daleske is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Kyle is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Kyle wants to control but Daleske postures up.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
An inside leg kick lands from Kyle.
Daleske just misses with a punch to the body.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Kyle looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Kyle throws a nice looking combination but Daleske bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Daleske shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Kyle connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kojiro Kyle dominated that second round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!


Kyle stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Kyle wants it to stay on the feet.
Daleske takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.

Kyle misses the jab.
Kyle defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Daleske.

Kyle rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Daleske moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Vashon Daleske is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Daleske takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Kyle throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Daleskes head.

Kyle swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Daleske is still on wobbly legs! Can Kyle finish him?
Kyle lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Daleske or not.
Daleske's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Still in the clinch, Kyle scores with a nice short uppercut.
Kyle lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Daleske breaks the clinch.
Daleske stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Kyle.
Kyle connects with a body shot that sends Daleske's belly button to the back.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Daleske fails to land the takedown.
Kyle quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.
Kyle throws a right and a left that Daleske avoids nicely.
Kyle lands with a thumping leg kick.
Kyle lands a nice looking body shot.
Kyle connects with a right hand. Daleske shakes it off.
