Bullard throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Silva fails with a takedown attempt.
Silva has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Bullard is landing a low percentage of strikes.

and Silva counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Bullard knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Silva on the ground.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Silva drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Silva seems to have locked his on tight now - Bullard screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Silva, as he picks up the win!
