Cardoza's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Holy See. Jake Blade is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Micheangelo Fripello and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blade slaps away a takedown attempt from Cardoza, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Blade doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Cardoza shoots and misses
and Blade counters with a stiff right hand.
It looks like Luis Cardoza has been cut.
Cardoza tries for a takedown but Blade circles away easily
and Blade counters with a nice right hand that sends Cardoza toppling to the canvas! Cardoza scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Blade finish him?!
Cardoza is rocked!
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Luis Cardoza. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Cardoza walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Cardoza limp body while Blade jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jake Blade!
An out of breath Jake Blade thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
Luis Cardoza was interviewed post fight and said 'I was robbed god damn it.....Jesus christ, this place is hell !!!'.
