PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Vrushak Madhura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lord Humungus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Humungus comes into a darkened arena with his song building. This Life kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Madhura fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Humungus avoids it really well and circles away.
It seemed like Humungus was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Madhura jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.

Humungus gets a double leg takedown into Madhura's guard.
Humungus trying to control the position from guard on top but Madhura is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Humungus advances position into side control!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Humungus has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Madhura!
Madhura prevents Humungus from taking his back.

Madhura wants to control but Humungus is having none of it.
Humungus has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Kombat MMA. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Humungus can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Madhura is looking to escape.
Madhura definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Madhura is working to get back to half guard.
Humungus tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Humungus wants to take his opponent's back but he's not managed it.
Humungus tries to control but Madhura wriggling away.

Humungus is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Madhura has managed to escape the submission attempt.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Madhura wants to hold on but Humungus pushes him away.
Madhura really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Madhura has given up his back. Will we see Humungus going for some submissions?

Humungus working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Madhura is doing well to defend. Humungus seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Madhura is forced to tap and this one is over!
