Schmeling dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Schmeling closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Byrd quickly recovers to half guard.

Byrd has one foot on Schmeling's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

Byrd tries to sprawl but Schmeling drives through with a takedown into half guard.
