The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hurley misses with a looping left.
Villamora throws a leg kick but Hurley checks it.
Bull Hurley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Villamora throws a head kick that lands with a deafening thwack! The crowd roars as Hurley stumbles backwards and falls to the mat. Villamora follows into mount!

It looks like Bull Hurley has been cut.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Hurley is wriggling around trying to escape.

That was a close round but I would say that Bull Hurley will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.

Hurley fakes the body blow, causing Villamora to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Villamora goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
