The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Chad Campbell and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turan tries to clinch but Rewell moves out of range.
Rewell keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Turan.
Rewell uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Turan.
Rewell replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Turan blocks it well.
Rewell scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Turan loads up on a big right hand but Rewell slips the punch.
Turan sets himself, and Rewell steps forward looking for the clinch! Turan avoids it this time.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Rewell.
Turan forces Rewell back against the cage and clinches.
Rewell is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Turan is keeping busy.
Rewell fails to pull guard.
