The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

We've been hearing good reports from Hulk's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Hulk wants to stand but Carvalho has his arm trapped.
Carvalho is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Carvalho isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Hulk stacks Carvalho on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Hulk!

Hulk will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

I really don't envy Carvalho right now.

You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

Carvalho uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Hulk.
Carvalho shoots in looking for a takedown but Hulk manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Carvalho's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Hulk stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Carvalho closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Hulk did well to prevent Carvalho getting side control.

Carvalho seems to be working for a kimura but Hulk defends the submission attempt.

Carvalho postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Hulk is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Carvalho, into his guard.

Carvalho has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Hulk is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Carvalho.

Hulk wants to stand but Carvalho has him controlled and pulls him back into his guard.
Carvalho looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Hulk puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

Carvalho wants to control but Hulk is keeping busy.

Hulk decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.

Hulk moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Hulk clobbers Carvalho with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Carvalho ducks right into an uppercut from Hulk.
Hulk is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Carvalho shoots in and drives through. Hulk sprawls well.
Arthur Carvalho is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Hulk misses with a wild body shot.
Hulk displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Carvalho tries a head kick but it misses.
Carvalho shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Carvalho swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Carvalho tries to move into range but Hulk moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Savage Hulk is winning the standup battle so far.

Carvalho is rocked!
Hulk throws an overhand right that drops Carvalho like a sack of potatoes! Hulk dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
