Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Chris Kennedy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Klavs Klunker!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yuuki Gou and Hirohito Nitta.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Klunker takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Klunker shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Kennedy counters with a straight right hand.
Klunker shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kennedy pinned against the ropes. Kennedy gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
A chopping leg kick lands by Kennedy.
Crunch! Kennedy slams his shin into Klunker's torso.
A punch combination from Kennedy misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kennedy swats away the attempt to clinch by Klunker.
Kennedy is looking to land body kicks.
Kennedy slaps away a takedown attempt from Klunker, before circling back to the center of the mat.
An attempted straight right counter from Kennedy misses the target.
Chris Kennedy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Klavs Klunker.

Klunker doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Kennedy counters with a stiff right hand.
Klunker gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Klunker uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kennedy.
Kennedy fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Klunker has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Klunker shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Klunker has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Klunker shoots and misses
and Kennedy connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Klunker doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Kennedy throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Kennedy throws a body shot but no joy.
Klunker tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Kennedy fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Kennedy throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Klunker throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Kennedy counters with a nice body shot.
Kennedy looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Kennedy stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Kennedy wants it to stay on the feet.
Kennedy keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Kennedy drops Klunker with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Klunker looks back up at him and smiles so Kennedy waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Klunker is rocked!
Kennedy turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Klunker is still on wobbly legs! Can Kennedy finish him?
Kennedy cracks Klunker with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Klunker tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Kennedy pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Klunker is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
