Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Burley Haines (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Fadden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fadden is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Judgement Night by ONYX & BIOHAZARD . I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 6 - 2, fighting out of Tokyo, Burley Haines!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 11 - 0, fighting out of New York, John Fadden!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Colin Fray and Roger Salmon.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Haines fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Fadden manages to avoid it.
Haines throws a hook to the side of Fadden's head but Fadden sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Fadden throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Fadden misses with a straight right.
Haines changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Fadden looks to land a left hand but Haines moved out of range nicely.

Haines shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Fadden is trying to defend but Haines finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Fadden makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Fadden wants to land a leg kick but Haines is out of range.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Fadden has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Haines takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Fadden throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Haines on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Fadden. Fadden obviously looking to wear him down.
Fadden checks the leg kick.
Haines moves out of range as Fadden strikes.

Fadden jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Haines has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Haines pushes Fadden up against the cage in a clinch.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Haines.
Fadden working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.

Fadden pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Fadden scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Haines moves out of range as Fadden strikes.
Haines on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Haines fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Fadden is out of range.
Fadden wants to counter with a clinch but Haines pushes him away.
Fadden is really turning it up, unleashing another crisp combination which drops Haines like a ton of bricks! The referee dives in to stop the fight, saving Haines from another fist facial!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). John Fadden!
During a confident post fight interview, John Fadden thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
In defeat, Burley Haines stepped up to the mic, saying 'No problem. I'm confident this fight will be ruled a 'No Contest,' given my opponent's troubling habit of testing positive for drugs of abuse.'.
