PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Punch Bag (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Point Dexter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Ben Zyskovitsi and Johanna Lukiainen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dexter connects with a body shot.
Bag swinging wildly here.
Bag takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Bag is breathing heavily.
Dexter misses with a head kick.
Dexter lands a lovely overhand right.
Bag shoots in and drives through. Dexter sprawls well.
Dexter keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Bag takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Dexter scoring well with a low kick there.
Dexter throws a shot to the body.
Dexter cracks a nice hook into Bag's ribs.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Dexter gets a double leg takedown into Bag's guard.
Dexter stands up over Bag, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Bag escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Dexter gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Dexter seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Dexter trying to control but Bag is working from the bottom.
Dexter controls from within his opponent's guard.
Bag knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Dexter on the ground.
Dexter lands a couple of decent looking shots.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Dexter trying to control but Bag is working from the bottom.
Bag can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Dexter controls the pace.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Dexter drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Dexter as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Bag screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Dexter! Nice submission victory there!
