The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Alan Glass and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kira lands a jab-cross combination.
Kira just misses with a punch to the body.

Keikan Kira seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Andersson's corner calls for a 1-2. Andersson obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
It looks like Keikan Kira has been cut.

Andersson takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Kira lands with an uppercut that bounces Andersson off the cage and back into range.

Kira shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Andersson eats them both and turns towards Kira to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Andersson fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Andersson looks to land a right hand but Kira moved out of range.

Kira thuds a left hand into Andersson's body.
Kira lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Andersson at a distance.

Andersson shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Kira's guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Andersson has gone for a leg lock! Kira slips out almost immediately though and dives into Andersson's guard.

My spies in LOD: Contenders inform me that Kira has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!
Andersson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kira can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Andersson wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Kira lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Andersson throws an overhand right that lands on Kira's shoulder, as Kira tries to avoid the shot.
Andersson is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Kira.
Kira stuns Andersson with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Andersson dives in for a single leg takedown but Kira sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

No joy there for Kira, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Kira lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Andersson backs up against the cage.

Kira throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Andersson stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Andersson looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.

Andersson shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Kira counters with a stiff right hand.
Andersson is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Andersson takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Andersson is rocked!
Kira plants his feet and throws a brutal three punch combo that sends Andersson swiftly into unconsciousness! Right, left, right! Boom, boom, boom! Andersson face plants, battered and bloodied! He might never be the same again after that finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:23 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Keikan Kira!
Keikan Kira decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
