Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Chiun Remo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Gerald Minor!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Dean Styles and Bruno Lombardi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Minor swats away the attempt to clinch by Remo.
Remo closes the distance but Minor moves to the side

and Minor counters with a nice double leg into side control. Remo won't be happy with that.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Remo wants to get back to his feet but Minor drags him back down.

Minor looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Remo managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Minor.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Minor scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Remo to see if he's OK.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Minor wants to lay and pray for a moment but Remo keeps working.

Minor is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Remo knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Remo tries to buck Minor off but Minor is having none of it.
Minor controls the position.
Minor advances nicely into full mount.
Minor throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Remo because Minor loaded up on that one.
Minor dominating with strikes here.
Minor working away from the top, dropping strikes.
Minor is landing with some decent strikes but Remo is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Minor looking to finish Remo with some ground and pound. This is bad for Remo!


Remo is rocked!
Minor postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Remo in real trouble here! The ref calls for Remo to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Gerald Minor!
A loyal slave to those sponsorship dollars, Gerald Minor made sure he mentioned KAISER, along with how happy he was to win his fight.
The defeated Chiun Remo had this to say: 'i cant understand this result !!! '.
