The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Papas misses with a head kick.
Bryan fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Papas manages to avoid it.
Papas feinted there with a counter leg kick.
Bryan misses with a series of wild punches.
Kobe Bryan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Papas looks for the body kick but Bryan saw that one coming.
Papas has been working on his boxing with his coaches at The Hut - $50 in the buildup to the fight.
Papas connects with an inside leg kick.

Bryan lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

It looks like Apolonio Papas has been cut.
Papas throws a head kick that Bryan semi-blocks.
Bryan dives in for a single leg takedown but Papas sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Bryan tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Papas manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Papas feints and then cracks Bryan's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Bryan down.
