Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Risto Riekko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alan Ford (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A right-left combo lands from Ford.
Riekko cracks Ford with a good jab.
A swing and a miss from Riekko.
Ford scores with a nice head shot.
Riekko dips to his left and cracks Ford with an uppercut!

It looks like Alan Ford has been cut.
Ford tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Riekko is able to avoid easily.
Riekko tried to counter with a leg kick but Ford avoided it.
Ford ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Riekko moves away.
Ford fails to land with a series of punches.
An attempted straight right counter from Riekko misses the target.
Riekko fails in his attempt to clinch.
Ford swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Riekko checks a leg kick nicely.
Ford tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Riekko paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Ford ducks under a wild hook from Riekko.
Riekko throws a body shot but no joy.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Ford avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Ford lands a really nice looking cross but Riekko seems unphased.
Ford lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Riekko throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Ford goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
As Ford looks to move away, Riekko throws a big counter combo bu Ford just gets out of the way.
Riekko is looking to clinch but Ford is avoiding it.
Ford uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Riekko.
Ford swings for the body but Riekko moves out of range.
Ford connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Riekko momentarily.

Ford fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Ford misses with a double jab.

Ford throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Riekko defending well as Ford loads up on a big left hand.
Riekko looks to land a right hand but Ford moved out of range.
Ford ducks under a wild hook from Riekko.
No joy there for Ford, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Ford lands a big head kick that sends Riekko to the canvas! Ford follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
