The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pipkin connects with the punch.

Unz is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Pipkin pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Unz tries for a takedown but Pipkin manages to get underhooks.

We've been hearing reports that Unz has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Unz is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Pipkin to keep the fight standing.

Unz jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Pipkin walks away with a smile on his face. Unz gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Pipkin wants to sweep here but Unz controlling him for the moment.

Unz drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Unz jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Pipkin utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Pipkin is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Unz maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Pipkin could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Unz has cracked it and Pipkin is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Unz!
