The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Yuuki Gou and Tatsuya Matsuyama.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jeeri lands with a straight right. Machado didn't see that one coming.
Jeeri tries to clinch but Machado is having none of it.
Machado cracks the inside of Jeeri's front leg.
Jeeri misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Jeeri shoots for a double leg takedown but Machado sprawls well. He's pushed Jeeri's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Machado digs a good body shot into Jeeri's ribs.
Jeeri shoots in but no luck this time.

Machado works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Kahwaah Jeeri seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Machado tries to counter by closing the distance.

Jeeri shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Machado as he jumps to the side.
A solid leg kick lands there for Machado.
Machado lands a slapping body shot.
Jeeri shoots in for a double leg but Machado sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Manny Machado is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Machado connects with a crisp jab.
Jeeri will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Jeeri looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Machado is fending him off so far but Jeeri persists. Nope, Machado circles away and we're back to standing.

Oh Jeeri is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Machado lands with a massive overhand right! Stick a fork in Jeeri - he's out cold! Ermm... I think I just mixed my metaphors but yeah... That was a nice KO! Big win for Machado!
