Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Snoop Lion!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jackson Law!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, James Ackerman and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Lion.

Law changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Lion looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Lion takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Law has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Lion is looking for a sweep.
Lion is working hard here to advance position.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Law working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.
Law working the body and head with strikes.
Lion has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Lion tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Law in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Lion manages to get back to half guard.
Lion is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Law scores with a couple of nice shots.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lion is trying to stand.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Law is looking for a kimura but Lion is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Law to get the leverage.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Lion tries to get to full guard but Law has control of the leg.

Lion is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Law pulls his head out easily.
Lion is refusing to be controlled, as Law sits in half guard.
Lion is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Lion is trying to stand.
Lion tries to roll over but Law keeps him under control.

Law in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Lion tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Law!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Jackson Law!

Snoop Lion was interviewed post fight and said 'Time to hit a blunt... puts everything in perspective...'.
