Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sammy Sharpe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hung Ngyuen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hung Ngyuen is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Roosa Järviläinen and Anni Minnemäki.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sharpe scores with a one two! Ngyuen had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Sharpe displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Ngyuen.
Sharpe throws a nice looking combination but Ngyuen bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Sloppy strikes from Sharpe. Those never looked like landing.
Sharpe ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ngyuen moves away.
Ngyuen circles away from the clinch attempt.

and Ngyuen counters with a leg kick.
Ngyuen shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Sharpe pinned against the cage. Sharpe gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Sharpe throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Ngyuen counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Sharpe throws a right hand that Ngyuen ducks under and follows up with a left that Ngyuen also avoids with ease.
Ngyuen shoots for a double leg takedown but Sharpe sprawls well. He's pushed Ngyuen's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Sammy Sharpe has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hung Ngyuen.

Ngyuen closes the distance and clinches.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Sharpe is pressed up against the cage. Ngyuen has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Sharpe down to the mat. Sharpe avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Sharpe throws a lazy uppercut

and Ngyuen moves into the clinch.

Ngyuen is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Sharpe is in trouble now - Ngyuen has advanced to mount!
Sharpe is breathing heavily.
Ngyuen tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Sharpe is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Ngyuen locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Sharpe is forced to tap!
