Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andrew Pain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Niko Riikola (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Riikola closes the distance and pushes Pain back into the cage.
Riikola is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Pain is pressed up against the cage. Riikola has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Pain down to the mat. Pain avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Pain takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Pain feints and as Riikola raises his hands in defense, Pain changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Pain stands up from Riikola's guard - Pain perhaps looking for a knockout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Riikola tries to clinch but Pain is having none of it.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Pain fails with a takedown attempt.

Riikola really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Pain. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Pain cracks Riikola with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Pain immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Riikola is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Pain!
