Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, David Hoff and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Venczel is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Carrer's half guard.
Carrer looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Carrer is trying to control but can't.
Venczel content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Venczel takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Venczel drops an elbow to the side of Carrer's head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Venczel looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Carrer with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Venczel connects with a nice short shot to Carrer's temple.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Venczel has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Venczel lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Carrer quite badly. Carrer pulls Venczel in close trying to recover. Venczel postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Carrer on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Carrer doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Zsiga Venczel!
