Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Stephen Barett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Point Dexter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barett comes to the cage accompanied by Foggy Dew. Point Dexter acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dexter shoots in for a takedown but Barett shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Dexter misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Barett shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Dexter sprawls well. Dexter wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Barett gets slowly back to his feet.

Barett shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Dexter as he jumps to the side.
Dexter throws a sloppy head kick and Barett moves out of range easily.
Dexter stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Dexter wants it to stay on the feet.
Dexter works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Dexter ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Barett closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Dexter is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Barett is aware though and is defending well.

Barett stands up over Dexter, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Dexter has his foot on Barett's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Barett works his way back into a safe position though.

Barett got a little sloppy there for a moment and Dexter has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Barett has managed to get both his arms back between Dexter's legs - danger averted.

Dexter is working for a rear naked choke. Barett is not defending it well and Dexter has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Barett refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Barett's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
