The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kasongo blocks a leg kick.
Gorham shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Kasongo sprawls well. Kasongo wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Gorham gets slowly back to his feet.

Gorham is trying to pull guard but Kasongo turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Peter Gorham. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Gorham tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Kasongo smiles and moves away.

and Kasongo decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Gorham's guard.
Gorham is looking to stand back up but Kasongo counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Gorham.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Gorham tries to get to full guard but Kasongo has control of the leg.
Kasongo throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Kasongo tries to stand but his arm is trapped.

Kasongo maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Gorham could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Kasongo has cracked it and Gorham is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Kasongo!
