Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gilbert Barber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cameron Adam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cameron Adam has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Gilbert Barber's chin.

The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Andrew Berry and Daniel Bishop.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barber avoids the head kick by Adam.
Barber avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Adam drives through and clinches with Barber against the cage.

Adam manages to break the clinch.
Adam fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Adam tries to clinch up but Barber circles away and keeps his distance.
Barber tries to counter by clinching up but Adam breaks away and moves out of range.

Barber throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Adam was covering up waiting for the punch and Barber finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Adam is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Barber dives into side control.
Barber could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Barber tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.

Adam is looking to regain half guard here but Barber keeps moving and retains side control.

Barber decides to stand back up.

Adam rushes Barber and presses him up against the cage.

Barber escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Adam motions for Barber to come forward. Adam throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Barber misses with a takedown attempt - Adam sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Adam swings for the body but Barber moves out of range.
As Adam tries to get set, Barber tries to push him back and clinch up but Adam manages to avoid the attempt.
Adam tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Barber was well out of range. Poor timing from Adam.
Adam looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Barber tries for a takedown but Adam sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Barber shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Barber uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Adam.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Barber landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Barber scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Barber looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Adam with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Barber is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Adam regains full guard. Nicely done.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Barber chips away with some ground and pound.
Barber wants to get up but he can't break Adam's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Barber swats away the attempt to clinch by Adam.

That was a close round but I would say that Gilbert Barber will probably get the nod.

Adam wants to lay and pray for a moment but Barber keeps working.

Barber is working to avoid the ground and pound but Adam connects with a decent elbow.

Adam connects with a leg kick. Barber looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Adam tries to sprawl but Barber drives through with a takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Adam throws a lazy right hand but Barber sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Barber wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Barber avoids the head kick by Adam.

Barber gets caught napping as Adam dives in and scores a takedown. Barber manages to retain guard.

Barber working for a triangle but Adam defends it easily.
Barber has momentary wrist control but Adam slips an elbow through the middle.
Barber throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Adam must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Gilbert Barber.
