The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rockhold is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in De Crote's half guard.
Rockhold throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Rockhold seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

My spies in Ultimate MMA Training Center inform me that Rockhold has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

De Crote definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Rockhold stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. De Crote swivels though and keeps the full guard.

De Crote working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Rockhold doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but De Crote is tightening it up a little... Rockhold has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Rockhold reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Rockhold taps out! Nice BJJ there by De Crote!
