Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Oscar Dos Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyson Jacobs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dos Santos comes into the arena with No Church In The Wind blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dos Santos tries to clinch up.
Tyson Jacobs seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jacobs throws a leg kick but Dos Santos checks it.
Jacobs wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Dos Santos takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Dos Santos chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Jacobs can pounce on him.

Jacobs throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Dos Santos escapes and throws Jacobs's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Jacobs is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Dos Santos's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Dos Santos wants to stand but Jacobs has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.

Jacobs might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Dos Santos haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Dos Santos will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Dos Santos has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Jacobs to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Dos Santos is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Jacobs pulls down on the head and he's put Dos Santos to sleep! This one is all over!
