The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yuuki Gou and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leaseau uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Powers.
Nice sprawl there from Powers as Leaseau shoots in.
Leaseau takes a jab right on the kisser.
It looks like Jermain Leaseau has been cut.
Leaseau rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Powers moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Powers lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Leaseau circles away quickly and effectively.
Powers misses with a left hand
and Leaseau counters with a nice uppercut.
We've been told by Powers's head coaches at Kombat MMA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Powers scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Powers swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Leaseau shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Leaseau was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Powers sneaks out the side door and pushes Leaseau away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Leaseau tries to close the distance and clinch up but Powers swats him away and circles back towards the center.

and Powers counters with a left and a right that stings Leaseau.

Powers misses with a looping right.
Leaseau tries to close the distance and clinch up but Powers swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Powers throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

A little jabbing left from Leaseau on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Powers comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Leaseau dodges the punch combination from Powers.
Leaseau moves into range and clinches up with Powers.
Powers tries a body shot but Leaseau blocks it.
Powers manages to break the clinch.
Powers scores with a nice strike.
Leaseau closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Leaseau tries to clinch there but Powers circles away.

Leaseau scores with a one two! Powers had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
It looks like Troy Powers has been cut.

Powers is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Powers connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Leaseau momentarily.
A punch lands to the side of Leaseau 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Powers lands a really nice looking cross but Leaseau seems unphased.

Oooooh!!! Powers has knocked Leaseau down with a huge combo! Powers steps away and waves a wobbly Leaseau back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Leaseau is rocked!
Powers lands with a big left! Leaseau is wobbled badly! Powers comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Leaseau to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Troy Powers!
Troy Powers spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
