Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Pramod Paowsong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brad Doyles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doyles is trying hard to land a takedown here. Paowsong sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Paowsong lands with a slapping head kick.
Doyles fails with a takedown attempt.
Doyles shoots in but Paowsong avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Paowsong throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.

and Paowsong counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.

Doyles rushes Paowsong and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Doyles blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Paowsong wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Doyles has him pressed against the cage.
Doyles is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Paowsong to keep the fight standing.

Doyles breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Doyles throws a head kick but Paowsong moves out of range.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Doyles chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Paowsong can pounce on him.

Doyles fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Paowsong lands with a kick to the ribs.

Doyles clinches with his opponent.
Doyles keeps control of Paowsong as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Doyles has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Paowsong is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Paowsong stops a takedown attempt from Doyles.
Doyles jumps guard but Paowsong stands there with Doyles around his waist. Doyles gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Doyles jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Paowsong walks away with a smile on his face. Doyles gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Paowsong moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Paowsong wants to clinch up but Doyles keeps it at a distance.
Doyles drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Paowsong defends it well.
Doyles tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Doyles closes the distance and clinches up with Paowsong, looking for a takedown. Doyles pushes Paowsong against the cage but Paowsong circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Paowsong fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Doyles has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
