Liddell comes into the arena with It's Dark and Hell Is Hot blaring out of the sound system. Haarmann has chosen Macabre - Fritz Haarmann The Butcher as his entrance music. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A left lands for Haarmann.
Haarmann has taken the fight to the clinch.
Haarmann tries for a takedown. No joy.
Haarmann drops down looking for an ankle pick but Liddell pulls his leg out and moves away.
Haarmann clinches with his opponent.
Liddell stalling against the cage.
Liddell jumps into guard, dragging Haarmann to the mat.
Haarmann wants to pass the guard but Liddell is keeping the position.
Haarmann is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
