Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, William King!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Urho Berserk!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Andrew Berry and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King tries to work over Berserk's front leg with a kick but Berserk checks it.
William King seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Berserk scores with a three punch combo!
King cracks a nice hook into Berserk's ribs.
Berserk's coach down at Gutz Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Berserk's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Berserk takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Good exchange - King coming out on top.
King is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Berserk.
King cracks a nice hook into Berserk's ribs.
Berserk lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
King throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.

King lets loose with a powerful body kick. Berserk will feel that in the morning.

King thows a body kick. Berserk tries to catch it but that hurt him.
King wants to slow Berserk down by chopping away at his legs.

King has closed the distance and engaged Berserk in a clinch.

King shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Berserk as he avoids it easily.

and Berserk counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
King misses with a low kick.
King looks for the body kick but Berserk saw that one coming.
King throws a body shot but no joy.
King is looking to wear down Berserk with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

King has Berserk up against the cage in a clinch.
Berserk tries to circle away but King has him pinned against the cage.
King misses with a punch to the body.
Berserk struggles to land a body shot inside as King controls his hands.
I was talking to King's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Berserk pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
King misses with a two punch combination.
King lands a nice looking body kick.
Berserk takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
King misses with a kick to the body.

Berserk on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
A slow jab from Berserk misses its intended target.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Berserk enables King to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Berserk manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

King postures up in Berserk's guard and throws a big left but Berserk blocks it.
Berserk wants to sweep here but King controlling him for the moment.

Berserk is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

William King dominated that round.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Berserk lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Berserk misses with a body kick.
King looks to land a left hand but Berserk moved out of range nicely.
Berserk takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
King lands a nice looking body kick.

Berserk just misses with a punch to the body.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

King drops Berserk with a right and a left! King comes rushing in but Berserk regains his composure and manages to keep King in guard.

King throws a big elbow that misses.
Berserk seems to have recovered his senses.
King arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Berserk's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). William King!
William King very nearly forgot to thank DC Unrivaled amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
Urho Berserk spoke after the fight, saying 'It wasnt KO! I just slipped!'.
