The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Edwards moves into the clinch successfully.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Edwards.
Edwards struggles to land a body shot inside as Rasheed controls his hands.
Rasheed fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Rasheed jumps guard but Edwards turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Rasheed jumps guard but Edwards stands there with Rasheed around his waist. Rasheed gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Edwards lands a hook that snaps the head of Rasheed backwards.

Rasheed has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Edwards avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Rasheed tries for a takedown. No joy.
Edwards tries a body shot but Rasheed blocks it.
Rasheed jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Edwards walks away with a smile on his face. Rasheed gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Edwards forces Rasheed back against the cage and clinches.
Rasheed tries to pull guard but Edwards forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Rasheed fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Edwards lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Rasheed.
Edwards lands a nice uppercut.
Edwards digs a right hand underneath Rasheed's ribcage. Rasheed let out a lung full of air as it connected.
A left hand lands to the body for Edwards.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Edwards throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Rasheeds head.

Oh Rasheed is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Rasheed is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Edwards to keep the fight standing.
Edwards scores with a shot to the side of Rasheed's head.
Edwards creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Rasheed with a big uppercut! Rasheed tries to clinch up but Edwards pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Rasheed to the mat! Rasheed covers up and Edwards unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Edule Edwards!
Our winner, Edule Edwards, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
