The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Donowitz Jr misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Machine closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Donowitz Jr's guard.
Donowitz Jr is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Machine dives into side control.

Machine changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Machine shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Donowitz Jr as he jumps to the side.
Machine misses with an uppercut.
Donowitz Jr circles away from the clinch attempt.
Donowitz Jr looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.

Machine rushes Donowitz Jr and presses him up against the cage.

Machine breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Machine is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Machine takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Machine is defended easily by Donowitz Jr.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
