Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Richard Parker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Bastad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Richard Parker has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Richard Parker seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Paulsen Ambrosius and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bastad shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Parker throws a quick inside leg kick.
Bastad gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Parker counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Bastad looks winded!
Parker has taken the fight to the clinch.
Parker lands a damaging elbow.
It looks like Chris Bastad has been cut.
I was talking to Parker's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Parker lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Parker lands an elbow just above Bastad 's eye.
That has opened up Chris Bastad's cut even more.
Bastad tries to pull guard but Parker forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Richard Parker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chris Bastad.

The cut above Chris Bastad's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Parker creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Bastad's defenses.
Chris Bastad's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Chris Bastad's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Richard Parker!
