Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ligerito Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Sonnen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sonnen has chosen Jarrid Mendelson - The Ultimate Fighter as his entrance music. John Sonnen will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jr closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Jr lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Sonnen down.
Jr cracks Sonnen with a big right hand but Sonnen just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Jr lands a decent elbow from side control.
Sonnen gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Jr connects with a nice short shot to Sonnen's temple.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Jr lands a nice short elbow.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Nice strikes from Jr there.
Sonnen on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Jr working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Sonnen is rocked!
Sonnen has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Jr is working away from the top position though.
Jr lands with a punch from half guard.
Sonnen is still in real trouble! Can Jr finish him?
Jr lands a big elbow - Sonnen is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Jr!
