Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Luke Psycho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Quincey Ferguson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Luke Psycho!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Quincey Ferguson!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Nard Betker and Paulsen Ambrosius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Psycho needs to keep his hands up - Ferguson had a free shot at his head there.
Psycho throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ferguson's waist but Ferguson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Psycho off to one side.
Psycho throws a looping overhand right but Ferguson ducks down to avoid it.
Ferguson works Psycho's body with a nice hook.
Ferguson throws a leg kick which misses Psycho's front leg but catches the back leg as Psycho tries to avoid it.
Ferguson moves into range and connects with a jab.
Psycho avoids the head kick by Ferguson.
Ferguson throws a body kick that misses.
Ferguson swings for the body but Psycho moves out of range.
Ferguson jabs Psycho right on the nose. Psycho blinks but takes it well.

Psycho drives through with a takedown into Ferguson's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Ferguson pushes Psycho off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Jab, jab by Ferguson - just one landing.
Ferguson connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Psycho has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Montreal Fighter's Gym (4.5* Sparring) in the buildup to the fight.
No luck for Psycho with that takedown attempt.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Psycho loads up on a big right hand but Ferguson slips the punch.
Psycho backing away here, and Ferguson unleashes a leg kick that just misses.
Psycho gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Ferguson makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Luke Psycho. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Psycho misses with a straight left.
A looping hook to the body misses from Psycho. Ferguson does a little dance to reset his feet.
Psycho rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Ferguson moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Psycho misses the jab.
Psycho misses with a right hand
and Psycho takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Ferguson thumps Psycho with a low kick.
Ferguson fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Ferguson lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Psycho shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ferguson pinned against the cage. Ferguson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Ferguson displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Psycho throws out the jab.
Quincey Ferguson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ferguson with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Luke Psycho seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Ferguson looks to score with a jab to the body but Psycho is just out of range.
An inside leg kick lands from Ferguson.
Ferguson lands an overhand right.
Ferguson connects with a solid leg kick.
Psycho tries to score a power double leg takedown but Ferguson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Psycho somewhat.
A little jabbing left from Ferguson on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Ferguson stuffs the takedown attempt from Psycho. Psycho gets slowly back to his feet.
Ferguson fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Psycho looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Ferguson throws a quick inside leg kick.
Ferguson lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Ferguson scores with a jab to the jaw.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Psycho fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Ferguson manages to avoid it.
Ferguson takes a swing at Psycho's ribcage but misses.
Psycho feinted with a counter takedown.
Ferguson uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Psycho.
Psycho throws a lazy uppercut
letting Ferguson counter with a right hand.
A decent looking cross lands there for Psycho.
Ferguson connects with a body shot.
Psycho throws a lazy right hand but Ferguson sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Psycho takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.


Psycho is rocked!
Psycho walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Psycho limp body while Ferguson jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Quincey Ferguson!
Quincey Ferguson decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
