Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Artem Obukhov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Faust Nava (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Faust Nava will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Artem Obukhov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Faust Nava!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A cross from Obukhov lands.
Nava moves in looking to clinch but Obukhov pushes him off.
Obukhov was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Nava shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Obukhov as he avoids it easily.
Nava tries to clinch but Obukhov is having none of it.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Obukhov seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Nava wants to try and get back to his feet.
Obukhov takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Obukhov's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Faust Nava has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

And that's the end of the fight!
Artem Obukhov showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Obukhov, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
