Annakin Drako struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 187.4lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Westchester jabs at Drako's body.

Drako fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Westchester sprawls well initially but Drako persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Drako wants to work for an arm triangle but Westchester is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Drako looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Drako passes the guard and advances to mount!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Drako lands a big shot there that rocks Westchester but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
