Gordon comes to the cage accompanied by S.O.B. - Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats. Jan Roca has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Mel Gordon's chin.

Roca's coach down at The Hut - $50 was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Roca's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Gordon creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Roca's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Roca drops to his knees and Gordon pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mel Gordon!

After winning the bout, Mel Gordon thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
